Scan basis
The cookie table in section 4 reflects an automated scan of the live website carried out on 24 August 2026. The scan loaded 15 pages (home, Board Courses Overview, Online Course, Flagship & Elite, Startups, Investors Network, Insights, Fintech Tours, Events, Contact, Login, Newsletter, Membership Registration, Blog and Book Series) in a clean browser profile with no prior cookies, and recorded every cookie, local storage entry and third-party network request. Results: two first-party/infrastructure cookies, one session storage entry, and no advertising, analytics or CRM cookies.
Google Analytics/GA4, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, HubSpot/GHL tracking and Stripe cookies are not currently present on the website. If any of these are added later, this Policy and our cookie banner will be updated before they are deployed.
1. What are cookies
1.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, web beacons and browser storage (local storage and session storage); in this Policy, “cookies” includes all of these.
1.2 This Cookie Policy applies to fintechcircle.com (the “Site”). Our connected platforms and subdomains, including startup.fintechcircle.com and webinar.fintechcircle.com, are separate systems that set their own cookies; where you follow a link from the Site to one of those platforms, or to a third-party service such as Calendly, that platform’s own cookie notice applies. This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Our approach to consent
2.1 Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”), we need your consent to place cookies on your device, except for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, or that are used solely to transmit a communication over an electronic network.
2.2 As at the date of this Policy, the Site sets only strictly necessary cookies (see section 4) and does not set analytics, advertising or CRM tracking cookies. Our cookie banner therefore tells you what we use and records your choice; non-essential cookies remain switched off unless and until you accept them.
2.3 If we later introduce analytics or advertising cookies (for example Google Analytics/GA4, the LinkedIn Insight Tag or the Meta Pixel), the banner will block those cookies until you consent, make rejecting them as easy as accepting them, record your choice, and let you change it at any time - consistent with ICO guidance - and we will update section 4 of this Policy before those cookies go live.

Embedded media and third-party content: the video on our Fintech Tours page is hosted on our own infrastructure (startup.fintechcircle.com) and sets no third-party cookies. We do not embed YouTube, Vimeo, social media feeds or chat widgets on the Site. The only third-party requests made by the Site are to Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) to load typefaces; Google Fonts does not set cookies, although your IP address is processed in order to deliver the font files.
Links to external services: buttons on the Site link out to Calendly (booking consultations), our application and webinar platform (webinar.fintechcircle.com), our startup member portal (startup.fintechcircle.com), Gust (funding applications), Amazon (book purchases) and our social media profiles. Those services set their own cookies once you arrive on them, under their own cookie notices. No cookies from those services are set while you remain on fintechcircle.com.
Logged-in areas: the Site itself does not host a logged-in area and sets no authentication cookies. Login links direct you to startup.fintechcircle.com, which sets its own strictly necessary session and authentication cookies to keep you signed in.
Forms: enquiry, newsletter and application forms on the Site submit data directly to our own server. They do not set tracking cookies. How we handle the personal data you submit is explained in our Privacy Policy.
5. How to control cookies
5.1 You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or delete cookies already stored on your device. Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary, blocking them may affect the performance and security protections of the Site.
5.2 You can change the choice you made in our cookie banner at any time using the button below, and if we introduce analytics or advertising cookies in future you will be able to accept or reject them there.
5.3 You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many providers through industry tools, including the Your Online Choices service (youronlinechoices.com) and, for Google specifically, Google’s Ads Settings.

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including as we add or change the tools and cookies we use. We re-run a cookie scan whenever significant changes are made to the Site, and the current version, showing the date it was last updated, will always be available on the Site.
