The flagship event of UK FinTech Week 2025 was back for its 11th year. With over 1,500 attendees and representatives from over 70 countries, IFGS continued to attract the brightest and best from the global FinTech ecosystem to discuss and debate the crucial issues facing the sector.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend the Innovate Finance Global Summit 2025 held at the Guildhall in London on April the 29th 2025.

The flagship event of UK FinTech Week 2025 was back for its 11th year. With over 1,500 attendees and representatives from over 70 countries, IFGS continued to attract the brightest and best from the global FinTech ecosystem to discuss and debate the crucial issues facing the sector now and in years to come.

We were honoured to welcome the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon Rachel Reeves MP, to the Innovate Finance Global Summit 2025 where she addressed the global FinTech community. The Chancellor fired the starting gun on the UK’s stablecoin and digital assets regime and announced US – UK discussions on a digital assets regulatory bridge.

Our very own Susanne Chishti all spoke on the topic of “Innovation meets Investment: Funding The Next Big Thing” – together with fellow investors:

Unlike many industry conferences, which tend to become vendor events, IFGS 2025 was packed with senior industry executives, start-up CEOs, regulators, and investors.

“Innovating For The Consumer: Unlocking The Opportunity” – was also a very insightful panel that discussed how we can help create an environment where the market is more fair and consumers get the credit they deserve.

We ran into most of the 11 Innovation lab cohort downstairs in the crypt, and it was great to see both Serene & Lyfeguard with exhibition stands. So all in all a fantastic day and great event. It’s an honour to be part of such an exciting industry.

Finally, it was great to see so many good friends again this year, and all the usual suspects in attendance ++ plus the very best of the UKs Fintech movers and shakers all in one room.
