PUBLISHED: 16/01/2020 AUTHOR: FINTECH CIRCLE The start of 2020 saw the first globally crowdsourced book on the future of payments: The PAYTECH Book. Written by thought leaders and influencers in the global fintech and payment sectors, this informative volume explains key industry developments and presents valuable first-hand insights from prominent industry practitioners. The initial call for potential co-authors of the book was released and shared across the wider FINTECH Circle community in September 2018, which resulted in 170 submitted proposals from a diverse range of industry experts. The Book editors were assigned to the difficult task of shortlisting the abstracts and in the end selected 76 authors to contribute to the PAYTECH Book, designed to be a payment technology handbook for investors, entrepreneurs and finance visionaries. The PAYTECH Book offers comprehensive understanding of a rapidly evolving industry at the centre of global commerce through the following chapters:

2. Payment Systems Infrastructures and Money Transfer Technologies
3. Payments Regulation and Compliance
4. Blockchain Regulation Around the World
5. Payments in Practice
6. Blueprint for Change

Finding the best paytech entrepreneurs, investors, advisors and thought leaders to be part of the Book was made possible by the FINTECH Circle’s Angel Network, social media reach and membership base of 130,000 professionals. FINTECH Circle has long been an advocate of innovation by collaboration and we wanted to make the PAYTECH Book a platform where our co-authors share their visions about the future of finance.
