Press Release: FINTECH Circle to feature in ITN Business programme exploring how the finance industry is making a positive impact in society
Date: 20 June 2023
Author: FINTECH Circle
The cost-of-living crisis shows no signs of wavering, with interest rates set to remain high for the foreseeable future and 1.2 million UK adults classed as ‘unbanked’ in 2020. But there is hope on the horizon, with many organisations across the sector looking to provide a fairer financial future for all, whether through innovation, technology or sustainability.
From green finance to the digital pound, FINTECH Circle have partnered with ITN Business to explore how the finance industry is making a positive impact in society, in news style programme ‘Fairer Finance’, launching December 2023.
The programme will be hosted by reporter and presenter Sangeeta Kandola, in ITN’s London Studio and will feature organisations who are making financial services more accessible and transparent, as well as investing in ethical and sustainable growth for consumers, society as a whole and for the environment.
‘Fairer Finance’ will feature thought leaders from FINTECH Circle and will share how companies and individuals are creating a fairer financial future. The programme will explore key themes including:
- How technology is helping people in the cost-of-living crisis
- Green finance and sustainability
- Diversity, inclusion and ESG
- New technologies, such as AI & quantum computing
- The Digital Pound
Launching this December, ‘Fairer Finance’ will combine expert interviews, news items and reporter-led sponsored editorial profiles. The programme will be promoted at ‘Fintech as a Force for Good ‘ an Innovate Finance event, on the 5th of October and will be launched with an exclusive showcase preview during a panel discussion at Fintech Connect 2023, on the 6th-7th of December 2023. The programme will be hosted on the ITN Business content hub and will feature in digital campaigns across The Economist and the Mail Online’s This is Money.
There are commercial opportunities for leading organisations to be featured in the programme and spearhead their own news item. We’re looking for organisations working in financial services and making a difference to society to take part and share their story.
